Helen wanted to let you all know that her wee one arrived this morning:

Sarah-Jane Esme O'Neill was born at 12:16 am
Weighing 7 lbs 8oz.

Mommy is doing well albeit tired. Her labor started Thursday night and she went into hospital Friday morning.

Well done mom - you are a superstar!!!

Wow! Pretty punctual baby! I knew there was a reason why I couldn't sleep last night! You've beaten me to it! I'm still waiting.....................
 
How exciting! I'm glad I didn't make that bet that she was having a boy!
How did she hide 7lbs 8oz in that neat little bump of hers....

Congratulations, Helen! I totally would have bet it was a boy too! Hope you're both doing well, looking forward to hearing all about it!
 
Helen - Congratulations on the arrival of your little lady. Wow, 7lbs 8oz - what a fab weight. I would definitely have had my money on a boy though....just goes to show that the shape of your bump means nothing!! Can't wait to meet her.

Your Mum and Dad bought their camcorder just in time ;-)

Awesome news!! I've still got a MONTH before my due date - I wonder if I'll stop getting goosebumps every time someone's baby is born - there's at least another 10 people in line before me, I think!!!

Hello ladies..thanks so much for all your lovely messages and well wishes. We're now at home and it's pretty chaotic at times - I just don't know where the hours go in the day. Really hope to see you all soon - so much to tell you re the birth and early days of motherhood - believe it when people say "nothing can prepare you" - it's just amazing. I'll send photos round on email when I get a chance - many congrats to you elodie - I'm impressed that you and Rita have managed to have photo sessions with your babies already - they're beautiful little bundles for sure xx
