Pregnancy for over 40's in HK

Is there anyone here who has given birth over the age of 40 in hong kong? If so what was your experience ?

I just turned 40 and is expecting the second one in Sept. It is very common in HK to give birth after 35 (at l east my peer group). Even my doctor told me that about 30% of his patients are over 38.
I have no complication so far and I have to said this one is much easier than the first one(she is now 15 months), but I think is because I'm carrying a boy !!!!

I'm now 38 and my mum had me in Hong Kong when she was 42. No problem. So I figure 38 years later, things must be better for the over 40's than in her day!
