Hello gals,
I'm looking for a good book to guide me thru my pragnancy, and i'm a first timer. So please give me some advice....

1) Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy
2) The Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy
3) The Pregnancy Bible

I've research these 3 in amazon, and they're the top 3 i'll most likely get.
Thanks for your help =)
:thanks

Out of those 3 I have only read the girlfriends guide to pregnancy and it is more of a humor book than anything. The best book I have read is

pREGNANCY CHILDBIRTH AND THE nEWBORN

by penny simkin,

who is a very well know north american prenatal expert. This book is especially good if you are looking for labor information. I bought a lot of books on pregnancy, but really this is the only one that was actually useful.

Bun,

I have a copy of the Girlfriend's Guide to Pregnancy you can have. PM me your mailing address.

Capital, Thanks! i'll look it up at the internet about the book.

Rani, Oh you are so nice. Thanks Alot! I'll get it thru the net.

I had the 'Rough Guide to pregnancy', which is written by a UK author and therefore is a bit UK centric, but good nevertheless. It combines humour (in the form of a week-by-week diary) and good advice (also in a week-by-week basis). I would say you could have mine, but for a few more weeks I'm still referring to it.

amongst the 3 you have there, i would recommend the Mayo Clinic guide. it's quite matter of fact & informative. i read like 5 of the most popular pregnancy books, hate to say it, but i find "what to expect" the most comprehensive.

THANKS everyone. :alien:

The "what to expect...." i heard it's not very organize by some reader, but i think just only 1 book can't fullfill us right...hum...
and this book i can get it in page one.
Well, i got the "hot Mama" for a intro...hehe.The animation make me very excited, and can't wait to get a bump...:agree:
