Pre-pregnancy check up

Hi.
Has anyone gone for a pre-pregnancy check up before you decided to try for a baby? We are planning for our second bub and I'm wondering if it's necessary.

we did but it was our first so we just want to be safe. But if I was to have another one, I guess we'll be more relaxed, skip the tests and 'just do it'!

I don't think it's necessary unless you have some specific concerns you need to discuss with someone.

I think its necessary, coz the doctor will assess you general health and prescribe any mutli- vitamins/ folic acid you might require. Guess there is no harm in one visit.

I did both times - am currently expecting #2 - just to make sure. I wasn't worried but it was nice to know that all was 100% before trying, just in case.

Zones... Who do you see in HK for this? A regular GP? A special women's clinic? Or an OBGYN? Thanks!

missed out that u trying for your second baby. you might wanna just do the test to see if u r still immune to rubella. if u r not, best to get a jab before trying.
