by the way, I'm ignorant...what does "en-suite" mean exactly?
is it the bathroom in the master bedroom?
 
yes, it means that the entrance to the bathroom is via the bedroom... so if there are 2 en-suites, that means that two bedrooms have bathrooms attached to them.

our house has 5 bedrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. so my bedroom has a bathroom, the kids room has a bathroom, the other three bedrooms do not.
