Pre-Natal Music

Hello!

I was just wondering about a product that was advertised on GEO Baby around Christmas time. It was sort of a "walkman" for your pregnant belly that plays classical music, and apparently can be heard by your unborn child by 5 or 6 months gestation.

Has anyone used this type of product? Would it be something worth looking into? Where would I find one in Hong Kong?

Thanks!

Thank you Rani,

It's great to be back! I'm almost 2 months along and everything is going well this time.

Thanks for the info on the Babyplus. It sounds very interesting and hey, what harm could it do?

Soft Music instead of the BabyPlus

It is my first time for a baby so i have very limited knowledge in caring and raising a baby. Could anyone tell me if listening to soft music is good for baby? if i listen via MP3 and would it get to hear it too? or the music has to go from outside in order for him/her to hear it? Also i hear that the BabyPlus is a good product for the baby to grow and esp good for his/her EQ. Does anyone has the experience to share?
Tks & Appreciate your advise.

Hello,

I remember seeing a documentary on BBC that had conducted an experiment on babies that were and were'nt subject to classical musiac..esp Mozart...The result of the study was that babies who were expossed to the music ( right from the womb) had a higher grasping power.... so I subjected my son from the womb till he was about six months old to half hour Mozart everyday ( when he was in my tummy I played it loud). He really enjoys the music..till now and he's 15 months old...not sure if it's made him smarter though....but he like it for sure...
