Potty Training Books

I recommend starting with the potty book for girls/boys as suggested by Rani. This will tell you whether they are interested or not. Then move on to Potty Training in One Week by Gina Ford. This book really works!! My daughter now 2 (then just 22 months) really was potty trained in a week and she has very very rarely has an accident since the first week. It does actually take longer than a week as you have to do a few weeks of just getting them to sit on the potty for increasing periods to get used to the idea. The actual potty training (i.e. no training pants or nappies at all) does take only 1 week though. I also used a huge star chart which I put up in the kitchen and gave her stars for using the potty, worked a treat!

So how did the potty training go? I've been reading Gina' Ford's 1 week guide. Was planning on starting soon, but according to her list D isn't ready yet. ;-(

Anyone else use her method or have any tips to share?
