Poop and blood?

My 3 month old let out an explosive fart and poop last night and when I changed her, I saw some red streaks that I think was blood. I am thinking it was rectal fissure that caused this but should I be concerned? She is entirely breastfeed and her poop was normal (loose and yellowish) so she was not constipated. This morning, her poop was back to normal.

had the same problem with my daughter, also breastfed and no constipation. Took her to the paed and was told it was anal fissure from pooing so much. applied vaseline up her bottom for a few days and everything was fine. Your situation sounds the same, but am sure your paed is in better position to confirm that.

Thanks, that's good to know. Her poop was normal today so if that happens on a more frequent basis, I will ask our paed.
