Hi there,
Just wanting to low down on Pokfulam as a potential area to live, it keeps getting recommended to us and although we have quickly visited I am interested to see why? Is it a good area for children and animals, are there local things to do? Help would be appreciated as we are struggling with an area to move to.

We moved to Pokfulam, because 1. the air feels cleaner than in say Causeway bay ie: less crowded 2. the rent is cheaper than mid-levels 3. it is a reasonable commute time to Central (about 30 minutes via minibus . . . less in taxi) 4. We found an apartment with a good efficiency ratio for HK and liked the floor plan (not always easy to find on a budget).
But only you can say if it's right for you by visiting various units for rent/buy and visiting the places you will most likely run errands in as well as if there is a school close by where you would send your child to.
