playgroups or meeting for a coffee, anything?

Hi everybody,
I just arrived in Hongkong 4 days ago with my family. We have a 7 months old daughter and are very happy with her.
Before we lived in Shanghai and I can't believe it myself, but I really miss it now, especially because I feel very lonely here in Hongkong.
I would really appreciate if anyone could tell me where to meet other international mothers with their children. Are there any playgroups?
I live in the New Territories but do not mind to come downtown to meet other moms.
Also maybe someone would like to meet us for some coffee? Everything is fine for me, just really need to meet some mothers with children who are in the same situation.

Things are still a bit quiet with people slowly returning back from Xmas break. There is a playgroup at the USRC on Tues and Fri mornings.

Hello.

Please count me in! I have a 7.5 month baby girl and would be happy to get together. We're also relatively new to HK, having moved here from Singapore just about 2 months ago. We stay in HK island side (Mid-levels) but wouldn't mind meeting up in Kowloon (TST?).

Who is interested

Hi everybody,
I wonder who is now interested in meeting maybe next week. Let's say Thursday the 12th of January in Central some place??? Maybe at around 2 pm??? Who is coming??? The place where to meet we still can discuss, since I do not really know any place like a caffee or so. I am new in Hongkong.
But in case someone rather want's to meet at somebodies home I am fine with that, too. We could also meet at my place. The only thing is, that it is at Gold Coast.
Any ideas???

I've sent you a private message... pls. check. I also tried to send you an email Hagar but didn't go through... don't know why. And Maxeenbaby, tried to call you but it didn't work.
I talked to peace she's working during morning hours so after 2pm would work the best. I'm fine with everything. This week Peace requested for tuesday or friday, that works for me. How about you guys?

Looks like we're able to set our one playgroup, since there's so much mums that are interested :cheerlead .
I'm finding it a bit difficult to contact you all, because of the confusion with the private messages, emails and telephone numbers. Hello! really interested to meet up other mums and babies as my 7 month old girl is really into making friends of her own (she get so excited when she sees other kids).

I brought her to rumpus room last Sat but kids there are much older and would rather play with the toys there than with her!

I am a working mum so would really appreciate meeting up in the evenings or anytime during the weekends! Gold Coast or Saigong is fine with us!

I have sent D.S a message to her hotmail with my contact details and really hope to meet up before end of this week when the whole family will leave for the CNY holidays.

& Hi Peace, what happened? thot we are suppose to meet up as well since we stayed so close by? Anyway, hope to see you soon!

D.S just sent me an email explaining that most mums are not working or working part time so weekdays are best for them.

If you dont mind, I would like to meet up with you and your baby. How about this coming Sat? We can go to the Starbuck at Alexandra House in Central or somewhere convenient for you.

Any more meetings coming up? I stay in Wan Chai, so if there're any playgroups around here, I'm sure my 8-month old would be interested.
