playgroups for 2+ year old girl, temp. assignment

We are returning to HK! hooray! but this is beginning as a temporary assignment (you know the paperwork challenges) so my daughter and I are "visiting" so no school, etc. Suggestions for playgroups? classes? we will be arriving late Sept/early Oct. and staying 4-6 months initially.

Hi Rebekah, my daughter and I tried a lot of playgroups and classes when we first arrived in HKG. I like Panda Junction for classes (I find it really pricey though), City Kids for playgroups (afternoon sessions easier to get in) and Playtown for indoor softplay (we live just above it!). We went along to one or two trial classes each week when we arrived during the school summer holidays. There're other things we've done like going to the beach, science museum, Noah's Ark.

If you're staying at Pokfulam, you can message me if you want to meet up. My daughter is 2 years 8 mths.

I think Baby Buddies in Sheung Wan has a class for over 2 years old. I liked the classes there when my son was under 2. You can pay by the month (and cancel on a month's notice).
 
Even some of the schools like Highgate House have playgroups which you pay for two months at a time and cancel with a month's notice. Might still be worth checking out.
 
not yet, should know soon! I imagine in central at least temporarily, as my hubs will be working there.
