hi there, we've just moved to HV too. I have a 16 month old and 3 year old (both boys) and would love to find some other mums/kids (My oldest will be starting morning kindy next week). I've heard that the playground at the bottom of HV, next to the race course is a good place to meet up - let me know if anyone's interested this or next week (pref in the mornings) as it would be great to get out and meet some new friends!
 
Hi Lok,
there are two public playgrounds in HV. The indoor one is in the library bulding on Sing Woo Rd (and it's great escape from rain or heat) and the outdoor one next to the race course.

My daughter is 16 months and we go there quite regularly.

Since I don't see any responses from the existing Happy Valley group why don't we set a new meeting time.
I normally go to the Happy Valley Indoor Playroom above the library between 9am to 9:30am Monday and Wednesday. Please feel free to join me and my son Matthew there. Alternatively if anyone prefer to meet in the afternoon, we can also arrange for a different time.

Hi I live in Happy Valley too. Is anyone interested in starting up a weekly playdate, alternating at each other's houses? My boy is 16months old and doesn't sit still so unfortunately coffee shops are out of the question for us! Or I'm happy to have it at my place every week if you prefer. We have enough space and plenty of toys. I have my son in a couple of playdates in the week already and he goes to the playground/library everyday. Its more social interaction in smaller groups I want to encourage for him. He sees plenty of kids in the playground but I'm not sure they actually 'play' together as such, ie. share toys and stuff. Anyway, let me know if you're keen.

I am moving to Hong Kong at the end of Feb, our serviced apartment will be in Causeway Bay and we will be here for about 2 months while we look for something permanent. From what I can tell Causeway Bay is near or part of Happy Valley. My son is just over 2.5 years so would be great to meet you once I'm there being that your son is the same age.
 
Hi, are you still meeting up? I just moved to HK and Happy Valley with my 9 month old daughter.....would be nice to meet some local moms and babies. :)
