Playgroup in Tai Po, Fanling areas

We are looking for a playgroup in Tai Po / Fanling Area for our 9 month old daughter. Does anybody know if there is any?
 
My son goes to Anchors Kindergarten in Tai Wo, they have a nursery section but not sure how young they take in. Call them on 26644133.
 
We also live in Tai Po, but as our son is only 3.5 months old, we haven't started looking into playgroups yet.

Definitely interested in hearing people's comments for future reference though.

Shaz Thank you very much for your reply yesterday. Called them but found out the minimum age requirement is 1.8 months. I just want my baby to meet more people may be I should look out for mothers' group.
 
That's quite alright, hey I thought of another one, Early Birds in Tai Po, I think they have baby group. Try them.
 
Dear shaz, very efficient of you. I checked their no. thru the telephone directory and got their no. but no one answers at the moment. Will keep calling. It is in Lam Tsuen and is very close to our village as well. Tks a lot.
 
My pleasure although speaking from experience I would prefer joining such groups when the kids are say 1.5 years old when they are mobile and more able to understand. I am a playgroup teacher for kids aged 1 year and above and find it quite a challenge even then, fun though!
 
Dear Shaz, tks for yr honest comments. My husband is not keen on sending our baby to any playgroup yet because he thinks she is too young. As you said, he said at least a year old. Guess I better wait then. Thank you and I am very happy to find Early Birds.
 
My daughter started going to Earlybirds when she was about 8 months old. I felt it was a good experience for her as she started good development traits. It is what you make of it that counts.

Dear Michelle, thank you very much for sharing your experience with me. Actually I also received other remmendations (from Sharon) that Earlybids is good. Definitely we will try this one as it is quite close to home.

Regarding the Early Birds, can anyone tell how much the cost is? and how long the section will be. Any playgroups on saturday?

I have two boys - 3 1/2 and 16 months. My older son is at Anchors (mentioned by Shaz earlier) and my youngest will probably be starting at Earlybirds in February.

Earlybirds Community Playgroups is situated in Lam Tsuen, Tai Po. We offer sessions for 0-5 year olds. If you you are interested, please ring us on 26402014 or 67304090.
 
There is Music Together in Hon Lok Yuen and in May Mini Movers and Total Babies will start.
If you phone Simply Fitness at the Hon Lok Yuen Club, they will give you the course details, times and costs.
 
Hi everyone,

I am looking for PGs for my twins aged 6 months old too. However, I can only be free on Saturdays, any recommendation?

I live in Shatin and so NT area is preferred.
