Playgroup for toddlers in Repulse Bay

Hello,

We have just moved to the Repulse Bay with our boys aged 3 and 14 months. Wondering if there are any playgroups with moms in the area.

Separately, any recommendations for classes ( music, art, gym) for both ages would be appreciated.

Preeti, I live in Tai Tam and have a 16 month old. Have another friend in the same building with a 16 month old too - maybe we could all get together and start up our own playgroup.
 
Thanks for the prompt reply! That sounds good to me - mornings work better for us. Let me know where you guys would like to meet up.

Also.. another piece of advice needed.. we have been looking at places to rent in Tai tam. How long does it take to get to Central? What are the transport options?

We're in the Manhattan and really happy here. The facilities are fantastic. Brand new huge swimming pool(s) that opened only two weeks ago and a brand new outdoor playground. It takes approx 25-30 minutes to Central non-peak hour - i.e. before 8 am and after 7, 7.30 at night. The Manhattan only has two shuttles to Central a day (morning) which is a bummer but the buses are regular. Pacific View have shuttles all day long I think. Taxis are stationed outside the Manhattan all day and most of the night.

I've literally just had a baby (5 days ago!) so give me a week to settle down and we can all catch up. I'll PM you and anyone else that wants to catch up early next week and we can arrange something.
 
Congratulations on the baby! PLease take your time in settling in with the baby - I know how it can be! Good luck with everything. Thanks again for the info on the commute.

I am new to Hk and would be interested in catching up also. I have a 6 year old girl who is at school, but would love some little boys for my son who will be three in October.

Ok so I propose we meet next Tuesday at Starbucks in Stanley at 9.30. We can discuss future meets, times, days etc then. I'll be there for sure with another mum of two so hope to see you guys there. Perhaps reply to this thread if you are coming so we know to look out for you.
 
Gosh, sorry guys, I always forget to look at my PMs. We're actually moving house today, so I couldn't have come anyway. We won't have any internet for the next week either, but after that I will be keen. I love Stanley. Keep me informed and i'll definitely come soon.

Hi Emily, just watch this space for the next location. We meet every Tuesday at 9.30 and are alternating meetings between Tai Tam, Repulse Bay, Stanley etc.
 
Hello Everyone,

Let us meet up in The Repulse Bay this time. For those of you familiar with the shops - why don't we meet up in the courtyard around 9:30 am on Monday, July 9th and then head to the playground. Also, if people are up for it we could go for a little swim with the kids in the pool. PM me for more details.

next meet

Hi everyone, next meet is on Tuesday at 9.30 at the Stanley Playroom - next to the library, in the building. I've never actually been there in the morning but hopefully it will be open at that time. if not we can go somewhere else in Stanley once everyone has arrived. Please reply if you are coming or pm me so we know to wait for you.
 
We forgot to discuss where to hold the next playgroup so why don't we just meet again at the Stanley indoor playroom so we can stay out of the heat? 9.30 Tuesday as per usual.
 
Hi Kristin, how is the last gathering ? I am a working mum.. can't join in weekdays.. hope u ladies has gathering on Sat or Sun in future.... I was very busy this weekend coz my Marcus had fever on Sunday.. but no clinic open on Sunday....Lucky that We have some medicine stored at Freezer, otherwise i need to take him to hospital.... :)
