Hi Mrs Momo, Tingting and Littestar
I share the same view as Mrs Momo, I want a playgroup that my kids to enjoy and gradually acquire knowledge and social skills in a fun way. Coffee chat can be something we do after the playgroup but not my primary objective.
Little star - you are more than welcome to join us.
Suggested activities for < 1 year old. Feel fee to add on.....
1) Read aloud flashcards/books that have colorful pictures.
2) Give them soft toys to hold and feel/toys they can move and make noise and get them to pass it around so that they learn to share.
3) Put bright toys near babies so they can reach out or move toward them. Put a big cardboard box on the floor so the babies can crawl inside and play.
Put some chair cushions on the floor. Babies can bounce and roll on them.
4) Have babies act out the rhyme and song with the help of their mums. E.g
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, turn around
Teddy Bear Teddy Bear, touch the ground
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, show your shoe
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, that will do!
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, go upstairs-
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, say your prayers-
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, turn out the lights-
Teddy Bear, Teddy Bear, say good-night!
