If you call the Club House in phase two you will get the information for Miss Janes playgroup, which is very good and enjoyed by most of the children in the area, you will need to go on a wait list.
Just Juniors has now started as well and they are offering Music Together classes (fully booked but you can go on a wait list) and have a few spaces left for Mini Movers classes.
The bus for AIS leaves very early in the morning, but a few children do go from the Gold Coast.
Other International schools that the children in the area attend are Hong Lok Yuen International (which has a lovely nursery school) and Japanese International English section. The busses for these two schools leave later than AIS.
There are shuttle services to Kowloon TST, Central and Tsuen Wan MTR station. You do not need a car, however it is nice to get around and much easier than public transport with two little ones.
The playgrounds, close beach and large open spaces are lovely for little ones. The only issue is the schooling, unfortunately in the Gold Coast you do need to travel long distances for Int schools and this makes playdates and afterschool activities a bit of a night mare.
