Anyone taken any photography class? any recommendation? i want to buy a DSLR camera, but i think i better take a class otherwise i will be buying a piece of rubbish...

I haven't taken a photography class in HK but I took one in the States for B/W photography. So, if anyone knows of any good B/W photography classes, I am also interested.

Tks, MaiYe. I also noted this last night. Also I saw some courses at HKU SPACE and ones offered by Chinese U.

U can check the following 2 people Photography Workshop. Craig is great my husband did his class with him and enjoyed it.
He is going for another class with Gary this week

Gary is more expensive that Craig but it is one on one.
Regarding buying a camera mostly people buy Nikon or Canon but Sony also has avery good SLR Camera. Check any camera websites and they give u the details pros and cons of what is good. We bought ours over a year D80 nIKON Pretty happy. But now there are many more new styles but it all depends upon exactly what u want to do. A higher megapixel doesnt really matter unless u are printing the photos on poster size page.
Black White photos are the same as colour only u print them BW there is no special class for them, but I might be wrong.
