Photographer for taking baby photos

I saw the ad posted on here and had a photo taking session with Dezza for my baby girl in January 2009. My girl had an enjoyable time at park and Dezza was very pleasant and patient to my girl which greatly helped to relief her anxiety for strangers. At the end we got about 50 photos with at least over half of them we think are very very cute and wonderful. We are glad we have picked him. It was worth for the price we have paid for.
 
We had Dezza take photos for our daughter's 1st birthday party and the photos were just amazing....all my friends were raving about the wonderful photos as well!
Dezza's really patient with kids and he definately knows how to take the best angles of children.
I will strongly recommend him to everyone here!
 
my three-month-old boy, hubby and me had a really special time with Keith Cheung, a COOL baby photographer (in my mind:>)

U know what, my baby boy was so naughty that he peed during the photo-shoot! haha...we're a bit embarrassed but Keith and his assistant was so calm and patient ;P

The photos are really sweet. Three of us look very good and natural together. I chose the Black & White style which I think are more timeless. Perhaps since Keith also has good experience with Feature pages and lifestyle magazines, i find his style quite artistic...

the price is affordable, less than HK$2,000. since u can get the high-res files, i think it's worth it.

We asked Derrick to take photos of our daughter and friends at her first birthday party. He was very friendly and easy to get along with so my daughter warmed to him immediately; he completely took on board our requirements; and his photos captured the party mood perfectly. I would highly recommend him without any hesitation. More than anything, the service he provides is what makes him stand out. He was very flexible, considerate, attentive and efficient which made it a pleasure to have him as our photographer.
 
Derrick took pictures of our 1 month old son last week at Kowloon Walled City park. We wanted to take the pictures outdoors with natural light and Derrick suggested that park. It is historical and had been landscaped to look like a Qing Dynasty garden. The weather was not co-operative and it was a rainy day but the pictures still turned out perfectly. Derrick was very patient with us and the baby and he just snapped away even when we were changing him and feeding him so a lot of the shots turned out to be very candid and beautiful. Most of his best work is capturing the feeling of the moment rather than posed shots so if this is what you are looking for I highly recommend him. He is fluent in both English and Cantonese (he is from Canada) and I can tell he loves babies by the shots he took. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Next time we have an occasion we will look for him again.
 
My husband and I asked Derrick to take pictures of us and our first baby when he was one month old because we did not want the studio effect. He is professional and we really like his style. We wanted to feel comfortable and look natural. Mathias' facial expressions change so fast and he has so many of them. The pictures Derrick took made everything look better than what I can recall from the photo shoot. Even the pictures of Mathias crying are amazing. He captured the good and the bad for the little guy's photo album. Thanks to him we could send amazing pictures of our son to our friends and family.
 
Thanks to comments/recommendations from this forum - we also had a photo session with Derrick just 2 weeks ago for our 1 year old baby and
we are satisfied with how the photos did turned out.

Derrick is easy to talk to & very patient - as every parent of a 1-year-old would know,it's quite challenging to catch kids of this age at their best in photos as they are already mobile like our son,but he did

Derrick also works fast & had our edited photos ready in less than a week & gave quick feedback to our requests

thier photo session is $2500 for outdoor location shooting. I spent around
$6000 on photo file, prints and canvas frames. YOu can email them for their
rate sheet. They are super friendly and nice to work with. The photographer took so many nice shots for us and even for me!
 
Just a quick note to say Derrick took some really wonderful photos of our family. We wanted an outdoor look and feel so went up to the Peak. The pictures came out beautifully, we loved almost all of them and got some truly amazing shots that we will have framed. He was great with our children (and dog) despite the heat and kids having various meltdowns. Having done Venture also, I would highly recommend Derrick in terms of style and affordability.
