all,

Location: Kowloon East

Thanks

I think its quite normal for 1 year old to have short attention span. My daughter at 2 years old still doesn't have much attention. We attended some playgroups at that age for singing and gymnastics, but mostly I played with her at home and read to her. My DH also played and read to her if I wasn't available.

A tutor at 12 months? Wow! This is interesting. Realistically, will it be really beneficial for the child? Babies at 12 months are curious and like to explore and that explains for the short attention span. I would be worried if the baby will sit still for a long time.

ps. and i'm a private tutor.....but it really isn't realistic for you to expect more than 1-2 minutes from a 1 year old. by 2 years you might get 5 minutes, possibly 10. from a 3 year old you will probably get anywhere from 5-15 minutes and from a 4 year old, you'll be lucky to get 20 minutes....

oo..i feel much more better after reading all your feedbacks. Before, I am just worry that my boy become non-focus, no attnetion span one..thanks..
