Pediatrician Recommendation in Vancouver?

Hi, I'll be going back to Vancouver with my baby this Summer. Just in case my baby needs to see a Ped during our time there (hopefully not), any recommendations on who to see & whether they will see out of town patients. We both have the Canadian passport but declared non-residency. Thanks.

usually the kids see GP in vancouver. Ped only sees children when they have special health needs. so if for regular cold/cough/flu stuff, a GP will suffice. when we were there 2 yrs ago, my daughter had roseola & we ended up seeing a ped altho all our friends who had children just bring their children to see a GP. I forgot his name, he was this chinese guy who was really nice. let me see if i can find his name for you.

it would also depend on where you are in vancouver, i would think. greater vancouver is a huge area and it can take well over an hour to drive from one area to the next.

i couldn't imagine staying in say... white rock and then driving to north van to see a doctor.

tks for the reminder carang. i live pretty close to granville street so traveling time should not be a problem at all
