My playgroup in Tsing Yi has gotten very busy so I'm looking for someone to take on some of the classes. I thought that I'd start my search here as there are so many mothers who frequent this forum and I feel like I've come to know so many of you already!

I will provide training. All lesson material is provided, you just need to know how to deliver it. (And maybe come up with a few ideas for crafts along the way.)

Ideal candidate:

mother who is looking to get out of the house a few times per week (if you have a helper, you can bring them along with your baby to enjoy the class, too!)

someone who is fun, enthusiastic and LOVES children

someone who is not afraid to get down on their hands and knees and make a fool of themselves playing with the kids

someone with imagination

someone with initiative

someone committed to the welfare of the children in your care

teaching experience is a plus, but NOT essential


MUST be a native English speaker

Mandarin tutor

Hi carang,
I am looking to go back to work part time after my baby is born. I have been a mandarin tutor for 5 years in hkllc. I am a native mandarin speaker and also speak cantonese perfect and fluent english. When would the job be starting from?
 
Hi Natalie,
The Putonghua post would be starting the first week of September. I have all of the English materials, but I would need you to translate the stuff into Chinese and then I could laminate and prepare it all for you.

I would like the Putonghua teacher to start with Tuesday & Thursday afternoons (12:45-3:45 or so). If the person would be available on Sundays as well, that would be perfect. But, I understand that many want that day as a family day.

I am now looking for a part time NATIVE ENGLISH speaking playgroup teacher for Sundays. The working hours are 9am-4pm with a one hour lunch break. All materials will be provided as will training.

I am also looking for a part time NATIVE ENGLISH speaking teacher to teach weekday afternoons (4pm-7pm) a few times per week. This post is to teach grammar, phonics and conversation to children from 4+ years. These are small group classes.

YOU MUST have the legal right to work in HK.
