Parents making a 10-day trip on their own?

Hi, have any parents here tried going for a 10-trip without bringing their baby / kid? My daughter is 8 months old. I and my husband are planning for a 10-day trip on our own. I am still struggling because I am afraid my daughter will fail to recognize us when we return, or simply because I am afraid I will miss her to death.... : (

My husband is very keen to make the trip on our own before our daughter reaches 1 year old.

Grateful if anyone could share experience. Thanks!

I dont think she will forget you but she may miss u a lot and if she is not used the person that u are leaving her with for 10 days that may be a problem.
