Paperwork for overseas delivery returning to HK

Hi all....

My wife is pregnant with our first child. We're both excited and nervous. We are considering giving birth in Japan (my wife's home country). If she does give birth in Japan, what kind of paper work will we require in order to bring our baby with us back to Hong Kong?

My wife is a Japanese citizen and I'm a Canadian citizen. Any help is appreciated.

a passport and dependent visa....you could just bring baby in without the visa, getting baby a visitor visa. then apply for the dependent visa once they have arrived.

once you get the visa you must exit hk to activate it. I did this by going to macau for the day.
