Pap Smear - GP or Gynae?

Does everyone get their pap smear done with a gynae or is it alright to get it done with GP. Any recommendation as to gynae or GP?
 
i had mine done at the maternal and child heath centre....
$100......

it was nothing fancy, kind of.... lie down and spread 'em...

but then again, i don't know if i really want to have an intellectual discussion while it's being done.

when i went, in tung chung, i was in and out in about 12 minutes from including filing the paper work!
 
I did it with my Gynae but I know that I had the option to make it done by some GP at the clinic where I go (Lucy Lord & Associates). Not a nice moment but, well... It has to be done. Speaking about it, do you know where I can find some consistant & reliable infos about it? (mine came positive for the 2nd time and even if my dr says not to worry I kind of start to...)
