Pali cribs and European mattress

Hi,

I will be buying a Pali crib in Europe but am concerned about the mattresses that fit in Pali cribs in general. Are the mattress the (North American) standard size? Meaning they are 51 5/8 inches by 27 1/4 inches? Otherwise I might be forced to buy the mattress in Europe as well if the mattresses are not the same sizes.

Why are you buying the PALI crib from Europe when you can get them here? We bought ours from one of those shops at Ocean Terminal (BeBe Dream, I think) and we got the PALI mattress from the store as well. Do check the different baby stores (Mothercare, Bumps to Babes, BeBe Dream, etc.). Unless things have changed since we bought ours 4 years ago, I'm sure at least one of them will be carrying a range of PALI cribs. Good luck.
 
Eugene Club in central carries PALI cribs etc- or at least they did in early 2008.

I casnnot buy it in Hong KOng because I don't live there. My Italian supplier is giving it to me as a gift and they are shipping it via container to the Philippines. I wanteds to know in case I have to buy the mattress there or I can just buy a standard sized mattress
 
I inherited a Pali cot from a friend and bought a Mothercare mattress that fits very nicely.
