I have just been buying paint too.
The shop you mentioned on Hollywood Rd {number 77}, is a good place to go. I ended up getting my paint there.
There are other shops on Lockhart Rd in Wanchai, so if you have the time, take a look to compare, but the size of the stores and range of colours is not any different from what I could tell.
Also must stores in Wanchai do not stock Dulux or other brands that you might be familiar with.
The Chinese brand paints such as Flower are also lead free though, I believe it is illegal here {and in China} for lead based paints. The problem I have had using some of the local paints though in the past is that they are not 'wash and wear', the cheap ones seem to have a 'chalky' finish that will wash off when cleaning, so I just stick with Dulux now, so that I know what I am getting in that sense.

The store is so so tiny, I could barely move around it without bumping into someone or something...and that was prepregnancy!
One of the store helpers inquired why I needed the paint, and how much i needed. I explained I was spot painting the apt. we were moving out of, and just needed a basic white paint...nothing to expensive.
At that point she turned to the other sales person and muttered something about gweilo.
Quite frankly it pissed me off that I was there giving them business, and they felt it ok to insult me in front of my face.
Not so sure I want to give them my business again.
Any specific Wan Chai paint stores I could go to?
At 30 wks preg. , I'm not exactly in the mood to walk around that area in search of paint.

It is relatively large, and very modern and uncluttered. The name of the shop is Colormony, and the address is: 220 Lockhart Rd, It is near the cross road of Fleming Rd.
I haven't tried them myself, so can't vouch for service or quality, but would certainly give them a go next time I was looking. They only stock Nippon Paint, which I'm not familiar with, but I imagine is a Japanese brand!
