Pacific View Tai Tam - child friendly?

Hi all

We have just arrived in HK and are looking for property around the Repulse Bay/Stanley/Tai Tam areas. It's more difficult than I thought as I haven't found that much that suits and fits the budget.

We are thinking about Pacific View in Tai Tam - does anybody have any thoughts...is it a child friendly place? I have a 4 month old and 2 year old.

Also, can you walk from Pacific View into Stanley? I'm keen not to have to get into the car for every outing.

We live in Manhattan, across the street. Both buildings are extremely child friendly and have great facilities. PV even has an indoor pool and a much nicer indoor play room. However PV is a little more expensive per square foot. Manhattan is very very competitively priced and vacancies are rare (waiting lists apply). Technically you can walk to Stanley, only a small part of side walk is missing near the roundabout. It's about 1.5-2 km. Both buildings have extensive shuttle services and taxis are only $16 for a one way.
