Hello,

I would like to ask if squeezing two fresh orange juice everyday is high in sugar? i've been doing that everyday, i'm on my 4th month. I haven't done any sugar test yet.

My obgyn actually encouraged me to have some OJ with Calcium, so I think if your other intakes are normal & you don't have diabetic predisposition you should be ok.

I've heard from a nutritionalist, that it is best to compliment your intake of orange with some form of protein. eg. an egg, meat...
That way the nutrients from the orange juice are used be the baby more efficiently.

thanks hkfornow, i like that OJ with calcium too, but i'm more afraid that it has sugar in it, than squeezing my own.

Thanks xox, i'll do that.

I always drink juice mixed with half water. It's much nicer to drink, not so sweet and easier for your system to digest. Of course, the vitamins are not as plentiful in a mixed glass, but you are supposed to drink lots during pregnancy anyway.

By the way, you are very dedicated to do all that work everyday!!!
