I'm back!! Would love to meet for lunch this Friday. I've been finding it really hot in HK since I got back from Scotland. According to my Mum, it was the first time I hadn't complained that it was cold while I was home.

Friday lunch

Ladies,

I work in Admiralty but can go to either Wan Chai or Central as neither is too far away. Starting to get very excited about seeing our little one in the coming weeks!! Oh, and did I mention a little nervous too!?!

Any suggestions for a venue?

Tell me about it! I've only got 4 more weeks, someone else is going to have to 'go early' with me so I don't feel left out!!:biggrin:

I'm fine for Central / Admiralty / Wanchai. Why don't we split the difference and go Admiralty. What's good near you CK?

Oh and update: I got my pram and maxi cosi yesterday. I can get it folded down with one hand Matty, YAY! {Still working on the getting it back up again though!!}
Shall be taking votes on Friday if I should go ahead with the rides with the empty capsule in the taxi!!
 
Lunch on Friday

L16 (in Hong Kong Park) does really nice Thai food. I could book a table if everyone agrees to that venue. I would suggest a 12.30 start (and perhaps indoors....is it just me or is everyone feeling the heat??) as it can get quite busy.

L16 is fine with me, though definatley indoors!

Gidget, I'm hoping to give birth a few days early and will be trying all the natural therapies to start labour. So hopefully only 4 weeks to go too!
Which date are you scheduled?

Looking forward to Friday... definitely inside as I might melt!

I might be singing a different tune here in a few weeks... but at this point, I am in no hurry to give birth. I am going to cross my legs and hold out as long as possible. We'll see how well that strategy works.

As usual, I might be a smidge late... yoga class lets out at 12:00 ish.

If anyone is interested... I plan to make a trip to Eco-mamma @ North Point after lunch. Hoping to check out the store and possibly find a bouncy seat and/or swing on the cheap.
