Was really fab to meet you all - am sure it's the first of many. [MENTION=2]rani[/MENTION] thanks for organising!

I'm going to set up a whatsapp group for anyone interested in sharing recommendations, questions and fun baby related stuff. No pressure as I know whatsapp groups aren't everyone's cup of tea, but if you'd like to be added maybe PM me your number.

Next time we have to take a photo so we can get group bump shots as the months go by. :)

Hi ladies,
I just signed up to Geobabies and was happy to find this thread. I'm a first time mum-to-be, due in late October. Looks like I've missed a couple of meetings of this group... but keen to join in for future ones (if I'm not gate crashing!)
Though I've never considered it before, have been reading a bit about doulas/ midwives in HK and wondering if anyone has any wisdom to share about their usefulness. We are going to the private hospital route (Matilda) and plan to attend the hospital's antenatal classes.

Hi browngal - I am also booked at Matilda, I am planning to go for the August antenatal course for normal delivery but haven't booked it yet. Maybe we will be on it together!

I'm also going to attend the October connect "coffee" that they have scheduled for next week. To get a tour of the facilities and also to get some questions answered!

I'm also new to this forum. I'm expecting my first on Halloween, October 31st and am currently planning on having the baby at Queen Mary. I would love to attend any future meetups. I've been in Hong Kong about 2.5 years and live on HK Island, but work in Kowloon Tong. If anyone happens to work on the Kowloon side, I'd love to meet up for lunch some time.

I'm already a mum and I'll have a girl at the beginning of october in QM Hospital.
It seems that you've already organized something, this is great! I live in Kowloon station , so if there is anybody who lives here in kowloon side we can meet up for a coffee next week ! Mums who lives in HK side are more than welcome too!
Ladys how do you feel? this week i feel that my belly is growing up very fast and the hot weather is not helping :-))

Hi all,

I'm actually a dad-to-be and our due date is the beginning of October. We have just found out we will be having a little girl and we're over the moon. We moved to Hong Kong a few months ago so at the moment everything is new and scary and exciting - why not throw a baby into the mix?! I'll be a stay at home dad as my wife is so much more intelligent than me. If you don't mind I'll let my wife know about your gatherings. She is sorely missing people to chat with about pregnancy and have sounding board about fears etc. Hope you're all having a happy pregnancy.
