Oceanpark/Disneyland for Chinese New Year

for disneyland, go to their website & check their calendar. i think the whole period is peak days where the tickets are the most expensive (when least people go). i heard last year, 1st & 2nd day were the least crowded.
 
i, personally, think that you would have to be certifiably insane to contemplate either for CNY...

this is golden week in china and there will be hundreds of thousands of mainlanders arriving in hk and you can be sure that both OP & DL are on their itinerary.
 
Actually, Peak days are when the most people are expected to go. It will be incredibly crowded at both places over the next few weeks. Not really an ideal time to go. If you want to go when it's not crowded, wait until like the middle of March or when there are no holidays, and take a day off in the middle of the week.
 
Agree with Cara. I am reminded of scenes from DL 2006 with any crowds flinging their kids over the gates!! LOL!
