hi, I haven't been to ocean park for ages and wonder if it's a good idea to there when it's raining...is it most of the area is outdoor?

I'm thinking to get an annual pass (the weekdays only 1) as the promotion sounds very attractive (buy 1 pass then get 4 free tickets) But I'm not sure if it's the right season to get it as it rains nearly everyday in spring n summer here.

Please advise, thank you!

hi, OP can great in summer and it does not rain everyday so u donlt have to worry.....OP is best when it is dry so do avoid the rains sp. with children.....there is a nice children play area plus the regular OP features and the weekday pass is best since the weekend crowd is highly avoidable.

we stayed in hong kong one summer and i went to op with my son at least three times a week. the rains never last all day.
the OP annual pass is a great deal. the crowds look overwhelming, but there were rarely large numbers of tourists in the kiddies area, where we were heading. never had to wait in line more than 5 minutes for the froggie hopper!

umm.... no rain doesn't last all day... it can last for a week or more! LOL!

dimsum mum... i don't think you've been in hk for very long!

if u get annual pass u can go after the rains. we got ours in October last year weekend pass and have been there atleast every month. Our son loves it

we, too, buy our passes in november every year. that way we get more use out of them.

we haven't been in about a month and a half, but both of our kids LOVE it!

I have OP passes, but surely it doesnt matter what month you buy them as they last 12 months and so covers all months. In the summer I find it is too hot, and when it rains much too wet. The best months ideally are September to March/April to go to OP.

oh.... well i find summers here sometimes to be rain, rain, and more rain or WAYYYYY too hot for my liking.

Hi- I was just looking into getting a membership to Ocean Park and saw this post. The original poster said something about a promotion when you buy a pass. I didn't see anything on the website and was wondering where I could get some info on the promotion. My husband works a lot so if we could get away with just buying one season pass (our son is only 18mos so free) and getting some free tickets that would work great since I doubt he would go more than just a couple times anyway. I am the one who would be going most often.
