I can recommend Integrate, we used to see an OT called Sharon Haarsma there - she was really good. I got lots of ideas and my son liked the sessions too (he was 4 yrs old at the time).
the teach them "tricks" to get them to become more confident in using their gross motor skills. training, I guess would be a better word....they can spot areas of weaknesses (gross motor and fine motor) and then train you and the child to work on these at home over several weeks (depending on the severity of the case)...the kids don't know what's happening, it's a very child friendly environment but they are in fact assessing different gross motor skills
I highly recommend Christina So at Rehabilitation Consultants, she is excellent with small kids and v knowledgeable.
We had one assessment previously with Maria at Budding Kidz and I was honestly not impressed and would not recommend her at all. Posted via Mobile Device
