Obstetrician Dr Poddar

I haven't had him as the obstetrician for all my pregnancy but only because I'm going public. I have seen him for a couple of things and really like him, he's very friendly and very reassuring. I feel like I'm in good hands with him.
 
Hi. I am currently under Dr Poddar's care for my 2nd pregnancy. He delivered my first child 2 yrs ago also. I have always found him to be patient, kind and very keen to listen. He explains everything very thoroughly and has always been great at calming me down in some of my "pregnancy moments". :). His scanning machine may not be as high tech as some others but for us that has been of little consequence. Hope your pregnancy goes well!

I'm seeing him too and like him. I like the fact he's worked in the NHS before, so understands what I'm comparing things to in my limited knowledge of pregnancy. My husband likes him too which is good.
 
I saw Dr Poddar once as a fill in when my obstetrician was away, and thought he was just the loveliest obstetrician. He has loads of experience and is very relaxed and friendly.
 
He's a lovely doc, delivered my first. Always had lots of time for me during his consultations and was very supportive both for the birth and also when I had a scare around 17 weeks. I'm pregnant again and did actually switch to a different OB this time but that was only because I felt that Dr Poddar wouldn't be able to get me in to the hospital i wanted to deliver at (matilda) and I was unhappy with my previous hospital (st pauls)
