Nursing / Maternity PJs

Hi.

Can anyone suggest where I can get nursing / maternity pajamas in HK.

Checked out Mothercare and they only have the nighties;
B2B carries only 2 from Sono Vaso that is a bit pricey.

Looking for something for the hospital and when I come home.

Thanks.

Have you tried motherworld? They have a couple of PJs when I shopped there last October. But these are more winter PJs as winter season is approaching. But do check if they have some for spring/summer

how about just a t-shirt?

why spend $ on something that is not absolutely necessary? you are going to have enough baby related expenses as it is....

i only ever used a t-shirt and loose-fitting shorts(fleecy material inside).

Hi there,

I agree with Carang -- you really don't need specialist PJ's I would recommend;

For the Hospital: Any old button-down pajama and a dressing gown for going to and fro to feed your baby, walk around the hospital etc.

At Home: I'm a breastfeeding mum of a 4 month old and in the early weeks and months you'll tend to drench everything you wear -- especially at night. What worked for me was buying 3-4 relatively inexpensive cotton and spandex spaghetti tops from bossini paired with as a treat a few new cute boxer-type underwear from your favourite lingerie store.

Mothercare also sell sleep bras which are also inexpensive in comparison with other stores and they've been great especially when wearing them under nice pajamas that you don't want stained with milk!

The thing to remember is when it comes to the night feeds, easy access and minimal effort is the way to go. Fiddly buttons wreak havoc on your nerves when coupled with a hungry bab's cries!

And one more thing; breast pads, breast pads, breast pads....

Good Luck and Congratulations for all that is to come!

i wore a maternity bra with pads to bed and a t-shirt for the first 4-5 months. had to... i leaked WAY too much! (got my bras at mothercare. and used pigeon pads, if i remember correctly)
