not a hkid holder,private hospital or not..?

please can someone give some advice to me on whether i should go to a private hospital or not.i am holding a british passport and 38 weeks pregnant and still not sure on hospital fees... some ppl say that i might aswell go to a private hospital because i have to pay anyway...
but i've heard that in normal hospitals i only pay hk3300 a day including everything...but i really want to know what prices private hospitals are charging, what they include etc...
i'd be really grateful if anyone can give me a rough idea...

your 3,300/day is only for the bed....you pay extra for doctor, anesthetist, epidural, etc. check out the hospital authority website, they may have a list of the relevant fees...or call them and ask them to fax a list of fees to you...
