newborn vaccinations

What vaccinations should my newborn get? and do they get this at the hospital when they are born, or do I take them to a Ped to get it done.

the BCG is given at the hospital within the first couple of days as is the hepatitis B...the rest are done by your own pedi. unless you go back to the MCHC for them - those aren't till 1mth old onwards though

Here is the Hong Kong updated schedule I think:

This is the US vaccination schedule that many doctors here follow:

http://aapredbook.aappublications.org/resources/IZSchedule0-6yrs.pdf

The UK vaccination schedule is slightly different but generally the same:

http://www.nhs.uk/Planners/vaccinations/Pages/Vaccinationchecklist.aspx

Given the relatively low amount of Hepatitis in the UK it is not part of the normal schedule over there, but given the higher numbers of it here in Asia it is recommended here.

If you are planning to move to the US or UK you might want to stick on those schedules such that you don't have to do a big "catchup" before they enter schools over there. If staying here long term than the HK schedule is probably worth following.

There's two - Tang Chi Ngong MCHC on Queen's Road East in Wanchai and Sai Ying Pun MCHC on Des Voeux Road West in Sai Ying Pun. In fact, you can go to anyone one affiliated with the hospital for your area. Both of the abovementioned serve the Queen Mary Hospital catchment area.
