Hey new (and old) mommies out there,

Does anyone feel up to meeting? We can do coffee or lunch in Central. Suggestions welcome.

I've delivered on Feb 16 and have done my confinement and am itching to get out!!

Hi Lisa, my baby girl was born on 16th Feb as well! I'd like to meet you and cxflygirl in Central for sharing some experiences. Any ideas when and where to meet?

My baby girl was born 3rd March, keen to meet in central too.
What about Tuesday next week? what time suits people?
There is a large pacific coffee at the end of lyndhurst terrace or the starbucks by page one?

There's actually a larger starbucks in Alexander House. It's quite deep and has lots of sofa seats at the back.

Anyone game? How about we meet at 11:00 am? That way those who want to have lunch can eat as well?

We can make these a regular meeting as well so that those who can't make it this time can come next time!

Starbucks in Alexander House works for me... but I cant be there until about 1145 as I will have to bring my daughter with me!

I'll meet you all on the next gathering... as i just temporarily moved to in laws house in Sheung Shui so bit of a trek!!! If you can make another gathering in May that would be super.. as I need to get out of the house soon!!!

After suggesting Tuesday I am now not going to be able to make it as we are completing purchase of proprety and have to go to solicitors. Sorry!!!

new moms gathering

hi ladies,

really wanna a meet you all and your babes....as we've haven't seen each other for months. i will be traveling to central next monday, wat about meeting on monday instead pls? (as you know i'm living at tko....quite far for traveling for both my little girl & I). i'm free to meet up from 1pm and onwards, pls advice time (we could either do lunch or afternoon tea).

Monday 1pm is fine with me.... if we are looking for somewhere for lunch/ afternoon tea there is a good place on peel street (just down from caine rd) called brunch club... very laid back and no issues with breastfeeding... just an idea.
 
I'll play next Monday after 1pm and lunch or afternoon tea is fine to me. Nic, the place you suggest on Peel Street, is it easy to be access to after the escalate? I'll come with my 2 month old baby, and I'm still little overwhelmed with the pram if there are some stairs to get to the restaurant or if I have to take taxi and fold the pram by my own. I would be very appreciate if the arrangement could be made somewhere in Central easily to walk to like IFC(I will walk from the ferry pier since I live in DB). Thanks you all!
 
Meeting up monday

hi,

did not get in touch before as i could not make it on the day suggested. i can make monday lunchtime though & would love to meet other mummies!!
I am another db'er, so jadie if you need a hand with the taxi/buggy thing am willing to help. we were in mid-levels for the first 2 months so became a bit of a pro at taxi's and ignoring people in the queue who were getting impatient:wink:

We are flexible and as you are coming from db to start with why dont you chose location?
