New Moms meeting (Monday 19th May)

Friday afternoon sounds good here too. We have been back from the UK for 2 weeks now, but no internet until this weekend, so feeling a bit out of things. Looking forward to friday - can do anytime.

I would love to join you guys with my almost 4 month old this Friday. Can I make a request that we meet somewhere near IFC or Central? I live on an outlying island so this just makes the commute a little more manageable.

Let's meet at the usual place, Starbucks IFC at 2.30 pm this Friday. Does that work for everyone?

new to hong kong

Hi, I am new to this thread. I am a stay-at-home mommy (Singaporean) with a 5 month old baby girl. Unfortunately we are joining the daddy in Hong Kong on Jul 27 so will not be able to meet up before then. I would love to meet new friends. We will be staying at Kowloon Bay, so anywhere that is MTR-friendly well be great.

Ooops, did I somehow miss you guys? I was at the IFC Starbucks at 2:50 and no sign of anyone! I approached a few other mothers with babies but they had no idea what I was talking about!

I am disappointed to have missed the gathering...maybe next week?

I missed everyone too. I was there at about 20 past and could not see anyone so as there were no tables I went for a wander in the hope it might just have been the end of lunch rush. by the time I got back at about 20 to I still could not see anyone.

Maybe next time we should all wear feathers in our hair or something!!! Although you would have thought that the babies ages would have given us away!!

Anyone else make it?

The funny thing is I have never noticed sooo many moms with babies walking around that mall! I walked around a bit wondering if the group had moved to another coffee shop and kept seeing mothers here and there with babies.

Yes, it may have to be feathers to identify the group in the future!
 
I was there around 3 and saw a 2 mothers loitering around the piano. There were also 2 other moms in Starbucks with babies about the age of ours, but they were also with their husbands I presume. Then the 2 mothers by the piano left after another lady with a stroller joined them.
Luckily I had Edwina's number and called her. We then had coffee when she arrived and we were wondering what happen to the others.
I looked out for u Emma, but didn't see u.

shall we arrange another meeting next week (any day for me except mon and wed) and try to catch each other?
 
Would Friday afternoon (say 3 pm) work for everyone? (I have work the other days so Friday pms are the only times I can make the meetings.)

Let's exchange our mobile numbers ahead of time to avoid missing each other.
