New Moms meeting (Monday 19th May)

interested to meet up at annerley together on June 2?

Annerley has periodic meet ups for moms 0-3mths and 3mth and above.

their June 2 topic is "feeding and routine for 3 months plus", running from 10am-noon. would you ladies interested to join? i think they charge around $100/session. i've planned to go, any moms interested to go with their babies?

June 2nd IFC Starbucks or anywhere else is fine with us.

We are going back to the UK for an extended stay, leaving HK on 16th June as my husband is going to work in China for 4 weeks, so this may be our last meeting until August.

I heard Annerley's classes are very good. I want to go there as well. Do you have any detail address of it?

Ange

We are also leaving HK for summer vacation in France for a month, on 15th June so we hope to see everyone at least once or twice more before then.
Looking foward to next Mon!!!

Nic, are u going to be travelling alone with your daughter to th UK?

cheers,
Grace

Just a thought, why don't we make this a weekly thing after we all come back after summer vacation?
We can also take turns to host at our homes, which would then allow the babies to crawl around and socialise too, since they would be older then and it's not much fun for them sitting on our laps or in the prams.
Let me know what u think .........

I think a weekly date is a good idea too.

Grace- Yes i am travelling on my own back to the uk, with the added extra of flying with emirates so i have 3 hours in dubai too. We actually go to the airport on the night of 15th, so may see you there!

Anyone keen to catch up this week? otherwise see you all next monday at ifc

Nic

Nic, I'm game for catching up this week.

(I'm trying to stretch out my baby's napping schedule (he's napping way too much during the day and thus not sleeping as well at night) so an afternoon outing to meet other babies would be good.)

Edwina

Edwina- and anyone else thats keen

Wednesday or Thursday are best for me- pretty flexible as to location depending on who is joining us... who's available for an outing this week?

could we meet this thur at 2.30 pm? any ideas n venues besides starbucks ifc?
weds i have playgroup for my older one.

I can do thursday at 2.30. Who is going to be able to make it, then we can sort out an easy location for everyone.

Grace where do you live? I know Edwina and myself are in mid levels.

Hi all, I think weekly gathering after summer sounds fun. I love the idea of rotating around our homes too. I can't make this Thurs - am heading to Hua Hin for a short getaway. But look forward to catching up again next Monday.
Nic, how was ur trip to Singapore?
Lieny

For this thursday, 2.30, mid levels seems like a good option, a few options,
1. pacific coffee at the of lyndhurst terrace/ hollywood rd
2. starbucks on caine rd
3. brunch club on peel street (just down from caine rd)

any preferences?

Trip to Singapore was good, SO stroller friendly!!! Natalua did not like the bassinet on the plane, so slept both ways on me, but no crying or problems with pressure changes. Still apprehensive of flying to the uk on my own though.

Meeting up

Hi Ladies,

Would be lovely to meet up this week, but we head off on Thursday evening and i need to be in Happy Valley at 2 so might be pushing it a bit!!

The weekly meets sound like a great idea and it would be good to do a mix of coffee shops and homes, espec when our babies become a bit more mobile!!!

Ellie's 4 month jabs went well and she literally cried when she had them and stopped as soon as she was picked up and cuddled. Did better than the 2 month ones - so for those of you with them coming up try not to worry!!

Nic - glad Singapore went well - we were in Macau at the weekend and Ellie enjoyed that. We did not take our own travel cot this time though which unsettled Ellie a bit, she has started been a bit fussy about where we lay her down now - loves her change mat and cot, but hates change mats anywhere else though, so am concerned she will not be happy in the bassinette on the flight. Will send any tips when we land in the UK.

Florence - how is the group for KinderMusik coming along? Am looking forward to it already.

Jadie - how was Shanghai? Hope you had a lovely time.

Well, will hopefully be able to keep in touch with activity from the UK and looking forward to catching up with you all again in a few weeks
Take care
Emma and Ellie x

Nic, Pacific Coffee @ Lyndhurst Terrace at 2.30pm sounds great. Anyone else coming besides u, me and edwina?

Emma, wishing u a safe flight to the UK and happy holidays. Lucas is due for his 4 mth old jab soon and I hope that he will be ok. Btw, who is your pediatrician? We go to dr Thondup.

Lieny, enjoy Hua Hin.... lucky u.
