New moms live in Kowloon station

can't make it on Monday as I have to work at 3pm, let us join you next time.
Starbucks is always crowded, we should try a coffee shop one level up (right above) from Starbucks, it's always empty, and has a change room next to it.

Hi Elsa, that's a good idea. I was wondering where we could go with babies, as just few moms already filled up starbucks, haha. See when we meet on coming week in that coffee shop. Do you need to work everday?

It's just a one off thing, not thinking about going to work just yet. Have to wait at least until Amelia sleeps through the night.
She's been waking up like 6 times in the last couple of days, I am so exausted...
Amelia is 5 months today, and I just tried weaning for first day. She loved eating baby cereal!!

Hi Elsa,
I heard that give baby other food besides milk will help baby to sleep longer. Hope it works on your daughter, I totally understand how tired it is. In the first month, Hugo woke up every 2 or 3 hours during night, and never slept longer than one hour at day time. Thanks God he sleeps throught night almost, only wakes up once at 1am, before 7pm to 7am. And last night, first time I put him back to his own bed, and he slept well!

Wow, that's great that your baby sleeps from 7 to 7 with only one waking... I look forward to the day! Do you breastfeed exclusively?

Would love to meet up with you... late late mornings tend to work best for me like around 11am or 12noon. Any time this week work with you? Elements or Harbourcity are both good for me.

it was raining today, Tomot and I just met in starbucks again, her son is really cute, wearing big smile all the time, and exciting to see me again. So touching!

Hi Connie,morning time is also good to me, too! As you know, Hugo sleeps throught the night, when he wakes up in the morning, he will ask me to play with him.
Two places are also fine with me, say wedensday morning 11am, Harbourcity, is that okay?
Before, my son also couldn't sleep more than 2 hours, woke up many times during night drove me crazy. I searched information about how to let baby sleep well in net, and tried to teach my son some routine, it works on us! Let's talk about it when we meet!

i tried letting my girl cry it out, totally broke my heart but amazingly it worked and now she can settle by herself. will tell you all about it when we meet...

I hear you shouldn't be doing the cry out method (or Gerberizing) til after 4 months... how old was your darling when you did that? I don't think I'd have the heart to... but I can totally understand the rationale. My husband said that if we came to that, he'd have to kick me out of the house for the night, hahaha... he's probably right.

My girl just turned 5 months 2 days ago, and she was waking up crying every hour at night, so I had to give Gerber's method a go, I was so exausted, thought I was going mad :(. I tried it a couple of times but gave up when I saw her crying and her whole body sweating from it. But this 3rd time around, I let her cry and she stopped after 90 minutes. It was so hard to see her cry but effect was immediate. That night(2 nights ago), she did wake up but put herself to sleep, and last night as well.
She sleeps better so it's good for her too. Your husband will appreciate better sleep as well.

I am with you on the Ferberizing (sorry I keep writing Gerber when it's "Ferber)... I can only imagine how painful the process is but what a wonderful and lasting result! And no lasting trauma, right? Congrats to you!!!!!

Oh, my angel is only 12 weeks old so too young for Ferberizing... anyway he's not so bad now but I hear they get "worse" AFTER 3 months in terms of crying for attention...

hi ruthmaomi, sorry for the delay in response. I think my girl is having growth spurt and she is driving me nuts for now. I can make it this Friday at 2pm.
