Nestle NAN HA 1

Has anyone had any problems with the Nestle NAN HA 1 in the past couple of weeks?
My 4 month old has developed diarrhea after opening a new tin of this formula. Is it possible that there is some kind of bacteria in it? (although it's manufactured in Germany...!) We've always used the same brand since his birth and never had problems until this week. My son is 90% breastfed and just gets the occasional bottle when I'm at work. His usual stool pattern is once a day, yellow and pasty. Now it's 4-5 times a day, usually after eating, and it's definitely runny!
Do stool patterns change sometimes? I thought the basic pattern was: meconium, then runny for the first 6-8 weeks, then pasty.
Can anyone enlighten me with their experiences?!

Dear mariaindb,
I am not sure if this helps, but my daughter was on Nan (but this one was manufactured in Australia, when we lived in Australia) since around 5 months, then when we moved to HK, and moved her to the German made one (from around 7 months). All her milk intakes were Formula, but after around one month of being on the German made Nan, she went from around 1 poo a day, to 4 or 5. As a result, she developed really bad nappy rash and became more irratable during the day. We visited the doctor who advised that this brand can cause runny nappies, and she recommended we move to Enfamil, which we did and works well.
I know that your circumstances are slightly different, but I hope this helps. The doctor advised that it would either be the formula (which we thought was a bit weird as she has been on it for around a month) or a virus. She advised if it is the formula that even though we were on it for around one month, there can be delayed reactions.
I hope this helps, but our solution was moving to the Enfamil (or now Enfapro for 6 months +, which worked really well.
Good luck, I hope you find a solution soon.

In our case it was the opposite. After being on Nan our son went 1 poo a day. We are currently on nan2 and no issue as such.( also made in germany)

My baby also experienced the opposite; she was very constipated from it and had painful poos. Once I switched to Babynat, the problem went away.

My baby couldn't tolerate Nan HA and her poo were terrible, on top of the screaming fits an hour or less after having the milk each time. I was advised to switch the Meiji hypoallergenic milk and she is now thriving on it.
