Neighbour Smoking on Balcony

Hello

I have a 6 month old son. My next door neighbour frequently smokes on the balcony and the smoke drafts into our home as we are downwind of him.

I am about to ask him to not smoke on the balcony so my baby doesn't keep inhaling his smoke. I'll try to be as polite and respectful as I can be. But I suspect he'll just ignore me and carry on.

Besides closing all doors and windows, does anyone know if there is anything I can do to back up my case ? I have asked the management office in our building, but they say there is nothing they can do.

no, i don't think so... he is on private property... he can smoke there if he wants. you don't have much of a case at all. he is likely to tell you to get lost. sorry.

only thing you can do is close your windows.
