After many months trying to conceive naturally I decided to start a fertility check-up.
Unfortunately our insurance does not cover such thing.
I imagine I'll have to go through many hormone tests, ultrasounds etc...
Do you think the ob/gyn will accept if I take the blood tests in a different lab?
Because last time I had a blood test (for something else) at the doctor office it costed me much more than if I took it with an independent lab...
So I think they take "commission" on tests they run.
(BTW Do you know good value laboratories in HK island for hormone tests? )
I do not know if the public system is handling fertility screening and what is the timeline and budget for that.
If you can share your experience and advice it would be really helpful!
