Need feedback on ob/gyn

New to HK and looking for recommendations of female ob/gyns. Pref that they are on Hong Kong side and can deliver at either Adventist or Matilda.

Looked through the posts and saw a Dr. Stephanie Chow in Central, however, seems that the reviews are very mixed and dated (back from 2003). Anyone have recent experience that they can share?

I went to Dr Anne Fang in Causeway Bay. Very patient and caring. Speaks fluent English and Cantonese.

dr louisa lam delivers at both. she's very caring. i like her a lot. she's at lanecrawford house. her tel is listed.

Thanks Joannek! Does Louisa Lam speak English? Prefer a doctor who is a little more American than a typical local HK doctor.

she speaks fluent engllish. she has some caucasian clients. she's trained in US & australia. i think she's quite unlike hk docs cos she's more caring & pro-vaginal birth & consider baby & mom high priority. i told her i wanted to try hypnobirth & she said, "well, you can give birth in water for all i care, my job is to keep you & your baby safe. so as long as i'm sure everything it's ok, it's up to you to decide what to do."

opinion between Dr Stephanie Chow and Dr Cora Ngai

Hi.. i have been diagnosed with endometriosis with 6cm choclate cyst. We have seen Dr Stephanie Chow and Dr Cora Ngai and both have suggested surgery. Dr. Stephanie Chow appear probably more skillful but very rushed whereas Dr Cora Ngai seems to be much patient and explains in very detail though not sure if she is as skillfull as Dr. Stephanie Chow.
I am not able to decide who is better for laproscopic surgery. Anybody has any suggestions/experiences on who is better of the two.
Thanks.
Regards.
