Need a break!!

My husband is away from 5 days at the end of June. We have an 8 month old son & I wondered if there is anywhere that does a mother & baby breaks, treat for both mums & babies - any suggestions?

I don't know your budget, but Club Med sounds pretty sweet. They have one with a babies section at the (new?) one in Phuket. Sounds pretty sweet for all.

That's an excellent idea Margaret! My husband is also going away for 5 days at the end of July and I have an 8.5 month old son too. I think a mother and baby break is a great idea!
Is Club Med in Hong Kong?? (sorry if thats a silly question...)

The two closest club meds are - Kuantan (in Malaysia) and Phuket (In Thailand). There's also one in Bali.

Highly recommend Le Meridian Phuket, ideal for going with a baby. If you want more details PM me.

With all the political unrest in Thailand right now though, might want to avoid it...at least avoid travel through Bangkok.

There are flights directly to Phuket. Even if you fly to BKK, you often just have to transfer at the airport.

I also want to do the same thing with my 14month old son in June (Hubby going away). I would like a hotel with a creche/kids club where I could actually leave my son to be looked after during the day so I can have some time to myself. Have been searching on the internet and not yet found anything, they all seem to be for older children... Any ideas?
