My 7 month old boy needs some friends :)

i don't mind either but the husband/partner might feel a bit :tmi when we :grouphug: goo-goo and ga-ga over our bubbas.

also, my hubby works during the weekend so he can't/won't join.
 
hehe yeah that's what I am a little worried about Aava. Mine would be like 'I don't CARE what his poo looks like!!' ;)
 
LOL... Don't mind meeting other dads but I wonder if the dads will enjoy themselves whilst being with us gabbing about our daily lifes and our bubs... I invited my husband to join nearly all my Mommy groups but not once did he say YES. He'd rather spend a couple of hours wandering about in a shopping mall and pick us up afterwards. Once I went out with female colleagues for dinner and he finally agreed to join only when he found out one colleague was also bringing her husband along! The idea of being surrounded by women seems to freak him out! It sometimes makes me forgo a Mommy group meetup as I don't want to leave him alone at home...
 
if tjio dessy will bring her hubby then you can bring your hubby too, ox jess. they can form their DADDIES group after that.
 
my husband will definitely not be there. Firstly he is just back from India so he will probably be tired and secondly he has to look after my son while I am there!

I can guarantee that if I offered he would quickly decline so it will be just me and jess!

He gets bored when I talk to him about Jess so conversations about all of your children would have him asleep in Strbucks within 5 mins! (no offense!!!)
 
Well, for me he will probably say yes, he'll join it. But, for most convenience, i'll consider to attend 8th of May meeting:)
Let's see if any other moms will bring their partner, then we can arrange dad's club:P
 
Haha Amy!! Sounds like your husband and my husband would get along.
I'll ask him about the 8th May meeting and see if he is keen then. He usually works on saturdays so I'm guessing it will be a no.

how wouldwe get to gold coast on 8 may? advice?

actually i'll see if hubby can be bribed to drive us there if he's not busy

sorry as I log in after so long each time.
so from the earlier posts I learned the meeting on 1st May 2:30at the same old place...ill be fine with it.
But I think the babies need some place to move around and play so some outdoor location like a park would be a better idea(weather permitting)
I think kowloon park would not be bad...it has a Mc'Donald (both indoor and outdoor),a bird avaiary, lots of play & activity area and on saturdays it's not even crowded too!!
what do you think ladies...
 
it'll be easier to get to kowloon park as oppose to gold coast for me actually but i'm okay with anything for 8 may afternoon
 
Yeah I'm just worried about the weather. Apparently there is a good playground on top of Kowloon Elements shopping mall so if it's wet we can stay indoors and if it's not we can go upstairs. But I'm fine with Kowloon Park also. Its just that some people are coming from the Gold Coast so I don't know if Kowloon park is further for them to come. We are talking about the 1st may though right? not the 8th may?
 
And also, I'm not sure how much moving around our babies can actually do haha. Mine is crawling now but I don't think I'll be letting him crawl around Kowloon Park ground hehe. I know your girl is walking though Maria so she probably would like it :D I'm fine either way.
 
I am fine to meet wherever you guys want but I don't know where kowloon park is so if that is where we are meeting then can somebody please provide me with directions!

How about we do elements this week and kowloon park next week?
 
kowloon park is a huge park in between TST and jordan - few close MTR exits near the park BUT let's just stick to elements at 2.30pm for tomorrow. :smile:
 
Cool. So we will stick to original plan so as not to confuse anyone. 2.30pm at Kowloon Elements Mall Starbucks (Fire Zone) :) Looking forward to it! I know it's not the ideal venue, but I have yet to find somewhere that really accommodates us. We can try Kowloon Park next time :)
