Thanks everyone for making the effort to come! It was great to meet you all and your lovely babies :) Looking forward to the next one!!! We can go out to you guys at the Gold Coast area. Shall we make it 2 saturdays from now? 17th April?? Maybe some of the ladies on holidays can come then too :) I'm free whenever.
 
It was really nice to meet you all and thanks Lisa for organising it. Yes, we certainly shall do the next one at Gold Coast where our bubs will have more space to move! 17th April is fine by me if it suits you all as well. I take my son to a playgroup every Sat 2-3pm in Central but I can skip that one on 17-Apr. Please keep me informed. Look forward to seeing you all again :))

P.S. I didn't go to the Science Museum yesterday as after walking around the mall for awhile, it's already 4ish... My son was happy to see a big Peter Rabbit in the mall by the way.

Apparently there is a clubhouse with a soft area for babies to be able to sit or crawl around. I've never been there personally. :)
 
Yes, there's a clubhouse there. I've been to Gold Coast on numerous occasions and I love it. It's a nice area. But as I am not a residence there I can't arrange the booking in the Clubhouse. Wondering if AmyH can assist? Let me know the time when it is arranged and I'd love to see you & your bubs again.
 
At the moment Amy is not sure whether she will be able to make it as Jess has an ear infection :( I am still keen to meet up. Can anyone suggest a plan B location? I don't mind traveling. OxJess??

I have a friend who lives in Gold Coast and let me check if she's willing to do us us a favour to book a place in the Clubhouse, but the earliest she can read personal emails is in the evening so don't rely on her just yet. Therefore, if anyone has Plan B? If not, I wonder whether you guys still want to travel to Gold Coast? We can sit in a cafe and then walk around... There's a beach there and a hotel resort. If the weather is nice, we can sit outside with the bubs. How's that?
 
weather is looking very crappy for this sat (mostly rain with 18C-21C)! :( if we could let bubs play inside then that would be great.

playtown in kennedy town is a good spot for indoor-playing for bubs but it gets busy during the weekends and i don't know whether you ladies want to travel there. the website says it is "free" for under 1 yr olds.
 
Sorry ladies but Jess is still not feeling better yet so I will be unable to join you all tomorrow.

I'm keen to try Playtown if others are. Not that baby can really 'play' hehe. I'm not sure how busy it will be though!
