Museums with activities for toddlers?

Hi all,

Hong Kong has some fantastic museums and I would love to start taking my 19 month old. Do any of the museums have some activities, exhibits or just areas that cater for toddlers? I haven't been in a long time so I can only remember what I have liked from an adult perspective. Any suggestions? Anyone found a place that their child really enjoyed?

My LO enjoyed our visit to the Hong Kong Museum of History. He especially liked the tram. There were no special exhibits or activities for toddlers though.

The Hong Kong Heritage Museum in Shatin has an entire area called "Children's Discovery Gallery" with lots of stimulating things for kids to touch and experience.

We just took our son to the Hong Kong science museum and it was really fun for him because everything there is interactive and at a certain time every day they turn on the "contraption" which is this huge system in which several large red balls roll down different ramps and progressively set of different reactions within the machine--including chimes--it's very neat to watch and goes on for about 15-20 minutes--my son was amazed. They also have an exhibit up that's all about candy that has some fun things for kids to interact with. But, a warning--we went on a Sunday that happened to be near a holiday--bad idea. If I took him there I again, I would go on a weekday afternoon when it's quieter. It's a fun place and even has a "house of mirrors" as well as all kinds of buttons for kids to push which my son enjoyed immensely.

we just took our two to the science museum as well. we went on sunday and although busy, it wasn't as busy as i thought it would be. i would prefer to take them again on a weekday, too.
