Multi-dose vaccines given in different countries?

Does anyone here have experience with multiple dose vaccines between different countries?

IE: will it pose a problem if LO gets his first DTaP jab here in HK then gets he 4 & 6th month DTap jabs in Canada? We are leaving HK for Canada when he'll be 3 mos.

Or should I delay his vaccinations until they can all be done in Canada? I want to follow the official schedule but my concern is if the manufacturer isn't the same between countries- might that be a safety issue dosage-wise?

Thanks for any input!

Hi LL, I see no reason for any concern. Vaccines approved by the HK government are up to international standards from reputable manufacturers and I assume that is the same for Canada too. The vaccination schedules are pretty much standard worldwide. Therefore, proceed with the needed vaccines but double check with the doctors there when you're back in Ole Canada.
